Vega Australia, as part of its drive to become a leading strategic AV and IT technology partner for Australian organisations, has appointed Alex Jory as their Territory Sales Manager for Victoria.
Alex, who also has a dual role as a Technology Consultant within the company, will work with Vega Global’s strategic development team to present clients with new solutions and services that will help them grow.
His primary focus will be on Melbourne, but with a national and even international reach.
Alex points out that the Coronavirus pandemic set in motion significant change for most businesses and organisations, that resulted in some adopting ‘right now’ fixes that may not be suitable long term.
“It’s a ‘right now versus right for us’ scenario,” he says. “We’re very aware of the challenges that have been raised by Covid, and globally we have helped our clients to adapt, overcome and not just survive, but to thrive.”
He loves the challenge and opportunities that the technology industry represents. “I get a real buzz out of discovering innovative ways to utilise technology to solve problems and helping clients to reach new goals and find better ways of working.”
Alex has over 15 years experience in the technology industry. Before joining Vega he worked as a Sales Manager at InSight Systems, one of Australia’s leading providers of AV technologies. His responsibilities included heading the sales, pre-sales and design teams as well as being the lead technology consultant for the business.
